This day is devoted to sightseeing in & around the mesmeric Munnar. Start with a visit to the Eravikulam national park (Rajamala National Park), which is located about 15 km away from Munnar. This park is home to ‘Nilgiri Tahr’ (endangered mountain goat) and ‘Atlas Moth’ (one of the world’s biggest moths) plus, plenty of exotic plants. Go trekking inside the park and rekindle your adventurous self. After charging up the self, visit the pleasant Dam Reservoir area at Mattupetty. Here you may avail boating facilities too. Later, visit ‘Eco Point’ – a spot where, as its name implies, you can hear multiple echoes of won sound. This is also an ideal location for nature walks. After enjoying Echo Point, go to ‘Kundala’ – the location of an artificial dam & catchment area; set in a fantasy filmy style. As night falls, return to your lodgings at Munnar and stay overnight.

Morning, checkout and drive to Periyar, a land of unending chains of hills, spice scented plantations and elephants. Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Department of tourism, government of Kerala offers boating facilities in the Periyar Lake. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Early morning drive to Alleppey. At noon check in to a House boat for an overnight cruise, settle down in this floating luxury and get immersed in the gentle rhymes of backwaters. After breakfast, disembark from houseboat and proceed to Kovalam En route visit the Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Puthen Maliga museum, Napier museum and Sri Chitra Art Gallery. Later proceed to Kovalam and check in to your beach resort for overnight stay.

Enjoy sunrise at Kanyakumari which is as scintillating view as that of the sunset. After breakfast at hotel, check out and proceed to Trivandrum to board flight / train to onward destination.
